I don't have a name for it yet. And the coloring is a little off in this photo. But it was a gold frame before and I used gesso and adhering medium on the glass before I painted on it.
I like! The figure and line quality remind me of sprites from wonderfully illustrated children's books. The contrast between the 3D foreground and flat color background is nice.
A way for separated college friends to get (almost) instant feedback on their artwork and keep in touch. Not quite as good as a late night discussion in Kretzmann, but as close as we can get
