Non-objective, invitation update, art opening

Since finals are approaching (and we got our grades back for this project) I decided to go back into it and finish it a little more. I darkened the middle and enhanced the top. Anything still look unfinished to you? Suggestions?
Also, I tweaked and finished Christi's wedding invitations last week and uploaded them to vistaprint.com They're scheduled to arrive tomorrow! I'm excited to see my first official graphic design job be printed. They decided to go with design #2 by the way. It's always nice when the client agrees with the artists : )
I still have lots of projects to finish before finals, but I'm feeling good about them I guess. The senior show opening last week was good. (I can't believe that was just last weekend!) It was fun to see family and (now married!) Julia.
Here's a picture or two in case you missed them on facebook. Apparently I was only giving out cheezy smiles that day. I blame the sleep deprivation. The first one is by the print/graphic design wall. My white on white stitching pieces are behind. The second one is my hanging fabric eye installation. I put the pictures on the fabric with Lazertran Silk. It's awesome. Just use a lazer printer on this special paper and then it irons just the toner onto the fabric. No weird white lines around the edges and it is still SOFT. Love it.

Other weekend project: Christi's wedding invitations
I did actually do something else productive in the last 48 hours. Christi asked me to design her wedding invitations. She liked contemporary designs and they both wanted something liturgical. It was hard to find religious and not cheezy invitations. The dresses are this kind of lilac and flowers are yellow, so tried to incorporate that also. I think we're probably doing them at vistaprint.com
These are just my roughs since I'm not sure what they will like. The ones with three colors I couldn't decide what I liked, so put it all in for them to see. Obviously the yellow comments are leftover from the pdf. Can't upload those here. Any thoughts? Is this flagrant use of zapfino font? I don't have any other decent-looking scripts.

Frames and Non-objective
First of all, thanks for the encouragement. It's been hard and I've done some procrastinating, but I have a good list going now and I'm optimistic about the next few days.

Below is the best of my print series from Printmaking all nicely framed. I must note that I cut the glass myself from broken UV glass that came with my photo frames. Also cut the mats myself. They look pretty darn good if I do say so myself. I dedicated most of Wednesday to this framing project.
Below is my non-objective from drawing class. We've already turned them in of course and now it's been sitting for at least two weeks. I didn't feel totally satisfied with it at the time, but wasn't sure exactly what else to do. Per the assignment it was supposed to react to the tea stains on the paper and look 3D. I think the top part still looks imbalanced. I would probably shade a little bit more to even it out, but don't want it to be as dark as the bottom either. Worthy to go in the senior show? I wouldn't frame it, just float it plain on the wall with foamcore behind, and the professors "chose" it for the show when it was 1/3 finished! What do you think? Should I put more work into it before Wed. morning, or concentrate on new pieces?

So...
Hi everybody,
I am having an independent study crisis. I have way too much to do before the show goes up next Wednesday! So I decided to stay on campus to get everything done over Easter break. Frustratingly Kretzmann is not open the whole time. And I am subject to severe procrastination. I am considering my unproductive day yesterday as a deserved break, and am now trying to start my motors again. Any words of inspiration/encouragement would be appreciated! I will hold myself electronically accountable with a post this evening with some sort of finished work for your recommendations : )
Thanks for being there! Miss you all tons.
