I like the sketches, but they do look like sketches to me. Wonderful non-objective shapes. My brain does not work like that.
Hard to judge from pictures. It looks to me like a nice background for more drawing/layers/painting on top to make it pop a little more. But the middle composition especially has nice possibilities. I really like it.
A way for separated college friends to get (almost) instant feedback on their artwork and keep in touch. Not quite as good as a late night discussion in Kretzmann, but as close as we can get
Let me know what you think. The drawings are charcoal. The paint is wall paint. I don't really have any explanations...as per usual. Reactions?
