Below is the best of my print series from Printmaking all nicely framed. I must note that I cut the glass myself from broken UV glass that came with my photo frames. Also cut the mats myself. They look pretty darn good if I do say so myself. I dedicated most of Wednesday to this framing project.
Below is my non-objective from drawing class. We've already turned them in of course and now it's been sitting for at least two weeks. I didn't feel totally satisfied with it at the time, but wasn't sure exactly what else to do. Per the assignment it was supposed to react to the tea stains on the paper and look 3D. I think the top part still looks imbalanced. I would probably shade a little bit more to even it out, but don't want it to be as dark as the bottom either. Worthy to go in the senior show? I wouldn't frame it, just float it plain on the wall with foamcore behind, and the professors "chose" it for the show when it was 1/3 finished! What do you think? Should I put more work into it before Wed. morning, or concentrate on new pieces?
